Refund Policy

River to Root Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 27, 2026

At River to Root, we respect both your time and ours. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the terms that apply when you book, cancel, or request a refund for a River to Root service.

By booking a service, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

1. Appointment Cancellations

We require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations.

If you cancel your appointment at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time, you may request to:

  • Reschedule your appointment, or

  • Receive a refund of your eligible payment, subject to any applicable payment-processing fees or other non-refundable charges disclosed at the time of purchase.

2. Cancellations With Less Than 48 Hours' Notice

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment are generally not eligible for a refund.

At our discretion, River to Root may allow you to reschedule your appointment one time.

Any rescheduled appointment must be scheduled within the timeframe communicated by River to Root.

3. No-Shows

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment and do not provide notice, the appointment will be considered a no-show.

No-shows are not eligible for a refund.

River to Root may, at its discretion, allow a no-show client to reschedule by paying a new booking fee or other applicable fee.

4. Late Arrivals

If you arrive late to an appointment, your session may still end at the originally scheduled time.

Arriving late does not automatically entitle you to additional session time, a discount, or a refund.

If you are significantly late, River to Root may determine that the appointment must be rescheduled and may apply the cancellation policy.

5. River to Root Cancellations

If River to Root must cancel or reschedule your appointment, you will be offered the option to:

  • Reschedule your appointment, or

  • Receive a refund of your eligible payment.

If a cancellation occurs because of an emergency or circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will work with you to determine an appropriate resolution.

6. Refund Requests

Refund requests should be submitted through the contact information provided on the River to Root website.

Refund eligibility will be determined according to the terms applicable to the specific service or purchase.

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Digital Products and Downloadable Materials

Unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page, digital products, downloadable materials, recordings, courses, or other digital content may be non-refundable once access has been provided or the product has been downloaded.

Any specific refund terms displayed at the time of purchase will take precedence over this general provision.

8. Workshops, Classes, and Events

Cancellation and refund terms for workshops, classes, group programs, and events may vary.

If a specific event has different cancellation or refund terms, those terms will be clearly communicated at the time of registration and will apply to that purchase.

9. Third-Party Processing Fees

When applicable, refunds may be reduced by non-refundable transaction or processing fees charged by a third-party payment provider, where permitted by law and where such fees were disclosed at the time of purchase.

10. Exceptional Circumstances

River to Root understands that emergencies and unexpected circumstances happen.

Requests involving serious emergencies or extraordinary circumstances may be reviewed individually.

Any exception to this policy is made at the discretion of River to Root and does not create an obligation to make the same exception in the future.

11. Service Dissatisfaction

Because River to Root's services involve personal development, coaching, intuitive interpretation, spiritual practices, and subjective experiences, we cannot guarantee a particular result or outcome.

A client not receiving the personal, emotional, spiritual, or other result they expected does not automatically qualify them for a refund.

This does not limit any refund rights that may apply under applicable law.

12. Policy Changes

River to Root reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy as the business, services, or applicable laws change.

The updated Effective Date will appear at the top of this page.

The policy in effect at the time of your purchase or booking will generally apply to that transaction, subject to applicable law.
